Cobalt blue is one of my favorite colors from summer going into fall. It’s so pretty and feminine paired with berry colors such as merlot and fuschia.

Love the mix of traditional cirrus-colored florals with traditional Moroccan decor!

That’s usually how I feel after a very nice long getaway, I’m never quite ready for Monday yet!

Yesterday’s post full of patterns and color inspired me to post about the twenty-seven names Winter 12 collection. I love the fearless mixing of color and pattern for their images. The offbeat color palette makes it all the more visually striking to look at. The colors are almost retro, but not quite. The saturation of the aqua and the avocado green paired with a pale blush and periwinkle make it absolutely current. A rich and dusty midnight blue make for a great dark base color to highlight the brights and the pales. Tiny polka dots, mod florals and chunky stripes all harmoniously blend when there is a great palette to work from. I’m such a fan!

This is such a great photo. Talk about layering color and pattern together! This is what I’d do if I could never decide on a single shade of red or a particular wallpaper. I’d use them all – what a magnificent idea!
